The following are the professional, business ethics which each First
Choice consultant subscribes to:
- To serve employer - clients faithfully and with professional responsibility.
- To respect confidential information obtained from employer - clients
and candidate.
- Give employer - clients complete and accurate information on a candidate's
personnel record, qualifications and experience.
- To treat candidates objectively, responsibly, confidentially and
without prejudice.
- To extend professional service to all qualified employed and unemployed
candidates regardless of race, color, creed, religion, national origin,
age, sex, income level, physical handicap or marital status.
- To give candidates information on positions and terms of employment
that accurately represents the description provided by the employer
- client.
- To arrange interviews only with the prior approval of the employer
- client.
- Not to solicit a candidate who is still in the employ of an employer
- client with whom First Choice has placed him/her.
- To derive income only from employer - clients and make no direct
or indirect charges to the candidates.
- To adhere to truth in all forms of communications and media, refraining
from misleading statements or exaggerations.
- To advertise only bona fide job openings, identifying the agency
by name in all advertisements and advertising materials.
- To refrain from conduct, practices, or statements likely to discredit
employer - clients, candidates or fellow consultants
